About

Hello, I’m Mo, a third year student of English Literature and lifetime writer.

My work has been published in various zines and small publications including LVNDR zine and most recently The Paper, the monthly open submission zine of Good Press Glasgow, an independent press publishing overlooked writers. I write fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry. I am currently working on a creative non-fiction piece constructing a critical theory of voicelessness through the moving letters of a woman named Emma Hauck, a magical-realist queer short story set in Anglo Saxon Northumbria, and a performance art piece inspired by the work and photography of Surrealist artist Claude Cahun. At the moment, I’m reading Pedro Paramo by Juan Rulfo, watching Sweet Mambo at Saddler’s Wells, listening to Joan Armatrading and playing Baldur’s Gate 3.
